NIGEL PETRIE
Chairman of DM since 1997, he has extensive experience of business management and improvement across a range of sectors, including working with the Snowy Mountains Hydro Electric project in Australia. He was HR director at the National Grid Company, now National Grid Transco, until 1993 when he was appointed General Manager, then Managing Director of First Hydro Company, a peak generator trading in the UK electricity market. Nigel also has extensive non executive experience in the Healthcare sector in the US and the UK. He is currently a member of the Board for Wales of the National Trust and a Governor of Clwyd Theatr Cymru.

MIKE NEWTON
Ranked No1 amongst the top 100 entrepreneurs in the UK by Management Today magazine (January 05), Mike has been the creative force behind the DM’s since day one. As the company’s founder, more than 20 years ago, he brought to market the world’s first CCTV multiplexer, which proved to be an instant success and is still recognised today as a major landmark in the expansion of CCTV. Within 10 years, from a standing start, the DM business had grown to be worth £60 million, putting it at the very forefront of CCTV systems. In 1997 Mike left DM to set-up AD Group, focusing on mobile CCTV solutions for aviation and remotely monitored CCTV. He returned to the DM fold in May 2001 as Deputy Chairman alongside his role as CEO of AD Group – now DM’s parent company - which under Mike’s stewardship had become a major success in its own right. Mike’s philosophy has always been one of constant innovation, keeping one step ahead of the competition, and as Deputy Chairman of DM with responsibility for technical overview this is a winning formula which continues to deliver.

ANDREW FINN
Andrew joined the business in 1998 and was appointed to the DM Board in 2002 after his promotion to the position of Finance Director. Andrew played a pivotal role working with the Board to ensure the successful completion of a series of acquisitions and the growth of the DM business from £26m to £80m in revenue from 2001 to the current status. He is also on the Board of DM’s parent company AD Group in his capacity as Group Finance Director, where he has additional responsibility for operational issues, including manufacturing. Andrew has extensive experience having previously worked for GEC Alstom , where he was responsible for several international companies, and for 10 years with the Kennedy Construction Group.

PAUL CALNAN
Paul Calnan joined Dedicated Micros in April 2006 as Sales Director for EMEA. In May 2007 he was appointed to Regional Director EMEA, assuming full responsibility for the management and performance of the EMEA Region. Under his leadership the DM FUSION installer programme was launched in the UK which delivers unrivalled commitment and support to the professional CCTV trade. Paul has over 25 years sales, marketing and management experience in the Electronics industry. For 10 years he occupied various Board level positions for Sharp Electronics Ltd, the UK subsidiary of Sharp Electronics Corporation of Japan. During this time he managed the company’s successful drive to develop the market for LCD Television and also drove the adoption of LCD flat panel displays for use in new commercial applications. More recently he was responsible for launching solar photovoltaic panels into an embryonic UK marketplace. Paul also served the Consumer Electronics industry as a Director of INTELLECT, the trade association for UK technology manufacturers.

PAULINE NORSTROM
Pauline Norstrom is Director of Worldwide Marketing at Dedicated Micros, a role which falls under her wider remit for parent company AD Group. She has been with Dedicated Micros for eight years initially as web development manager moving into senior marketing management roles latterly as Worldwide Head of Marketing. Pauline has over 20 years experience in business management, B2B marketing, sales and internet development. In her latest position Pauline has overall responsibility for the strategic positioning of the company’s brands, technologies and products worldwide. In addition to her Dedicated Micros and AD
Group roles, Pauline is a regular public speaker and media spokesperson for the Group, and is a well respected figure in the wider UK security industry as the Chairman of CCTV Section of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) where she has taken a lead in the development and promotion of standards and best practice guidance, and was recently appointed to the Programme Board of the National CCTV Strategy.

HUGH DEVEREUX
Hugh Devereux is Director of Product Management for Dedicated Micros a role he took up in May 2008. He is responsible for all aspects of product management from initial concept to the development and introduction of new models and their life cycle management and positioning. In addition, Hugh oversees the adaptive engineering of products to meet specific application requirements. He first joined Dedicated Micros in 2005 from Baxall as Head of Product Management. Hugh's promotion to Director of Product Management underlines the importance the company places on this key function to ensure the effective introduction of products across the globe from Dedicated Micros industry-leading suite of NetVu Connected solutions - with enhanced capabilities such as High Definition CCTV - to the ICE range of cameras and mini-domes which has further strengthened the company's ability to offer powerful end-to-end solutions.
